From the French Automaker, the DS7 Crossback is a compact luxury SUV, first displayed at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2017.
Since 2007, DS Automobiles have been a part of the Citroen group, further moving into its own entity in 2015. As a company, they intended to solely manufacture electric vehicles from 2025.
Built upon the EMP2 Platform, its shares its underpinnings with a number of vehicles such as the C4, Grand C4 Picasso, the Citroen C6 II, Peugeot 308 II and the Peugeot 408 II.

This DS7 Crossback gained recognition throughout France when President Emmanuel Macron chose this model as his presidential car, in fact, it was the first SUV to have even been selected for this purpose as part of the inauguration ceremony. Though the model itself was a production vehicle, the internal detailing and external colors were custom-made.
The DS7 Crossback is a 5-door SUV containing the engine in the bonnet, available as either a front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive or a rear-wheel drive.
Petrol versions could be bought as a 1.2-liter PSA EB2DTS Turbo i3 or a 1.6-liter turbodiesel i4.
Diesel models came as either a 1.5-liter or a 2-liter and the hybrid powertrains were 1.6-liter PSA EP6 FDT and a 1.6-liter PSA EP6CDTX.
In terms of transmission, DS Automobiles allowed for either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic.
