The F-Pace was first unveiled in 2016, making a huge splash when it joined the Jaguar lineup. There has only been one generation of the F-Pace so far, but it did receive a facelift in 2020. The majority of these changes on the exterior were relatively subtle.

It currently sits at the top of the Jaguar SUV lineup, sitting above the E-Pace in terms of size.

In terms of rival models from outside the British company, it usually faces competition from the likes of the Audi Q5, BMW X5, and the Mercedes Benz GLC.

Jaguar offers the model in four trim levels. These are the base version, followed by the S, R-Dynamic S, and SVR. There are a number of engine options for each trim.

These start with the smaller petrol 2.0 L inline-4, and go onto various supercharged 3.0 L V6s. There is also a massive supercharged 5.0 L V8 that is used in high-performance models.

Diesel engines give customers the choice of multiple different 2.0 L inline-4 configurations, as well as a 3.0 L V6. All of these diesel options are turbocharged.

There is also a PHEV version, which uses the same turbocharged 2.0 L petrol Ingenium engine. This time it is paired with a 105 kW electric motor.

The model received fairly unanimous praise since its release, which led to a number of prestigious awards. These include two different 2017 World Car Awards, 2017 World Car of the Year, and finally the World Car Design of the Year award.

It also not only became the company’s highest-seller in the world, but the fastest-selling model in Jaguar history.
