Classed as a subcompact executive car, the modern Mini Clubman is actually now manufacturer by BMW in Germany.

Originally a British car created in the 1960s the brand was eventually sold to BMW in 2000 but it wasn't until 2007 that they revived the Clubman trim.

What separates the Clubman trim from the standard one is the longer wheelbase and the van-like rear with barn doors.

Many buyers have opted for this style of Mini thanks to its ability to easily turn into a van by folding down the rear seats - making it great for those who move cargo around regularly.

Engine choices for the original revived Clubman were fairly limited, buyers could only choose a 1.6 liter though they could opt for gasoline, diesel and even turbocharge both of those fuels.

When the 2015 second-generation hit showrooms customers found that it was a bigger vehicle with larger engines on offer to match the weight gain.

Transmission options were also revised and allowed buyers to get access to an 8 speed automatic or even a 7-speed dual-clutch option.
