Replacing many models such as the DTS and STS, the Cadillac XTS was designed to be the company's flagship full-size luxury sedan.
Introduced for the 2013 model year the car is available with a choice of 3 engines (2 liter turbo or a 3.6 V6 with optional turbo) mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Power is fed to either the front wheels or optional all-wheel-drive, though it is standard for the "V" trim to power all four wheels full-time.
Inside the car is a range of modern technology to aid the driver in terms of safety and for the passengers to be as comfortable as possible.
Depending on the trim the buyer has chosen for their XTS the car may include dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control or even an infotainment center.
Underneath the car is the same platform used by the GM company across other cars in their range including the Buick LaCrosse and the Chevrolet Impala.
Sales of the car have climbed in China year-on-year since its release though in North America the car is slowly falling out of favor with car buyers.
A long-wheelbase version of the car also exists that is called the XTS-L that has proved popular with buyers who are chauffeur driven - such as in China and for limousines.
