The Peugeot Expert Tepee first made its debut in 1994 and the large multipurpose van has remained on the market ever since.

Since its initial release, there have been three generations to hit the markets. The latest of these was unveiled in 2016.

Like a number of European models under the now-Stellantis group, it is a rebadged version of another vehicle. In this case, it is a rebadged version of the Citroen Jumpy or Dispatch, depending on the region in question.

It is also considered the largest van offered by Peugeot, being larger than both the Peugeot Bipper and Partner.

The main difference between this version and the regular Expert is that the Tepee is a people-carrier.

Competition from outside of the company has typically come from the Citroen Dispatch, Toyota ProAce, and Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro. Interestingly, all of these models fall under the Stellantis group, and yet they form the main competition for the Expert Tepee.

Trim options consist of the same found throughout Peugeot's van range. These are the base S Premium, Professional Premium and Asphalt Premium.

Peugeot has offered a number of petrol and diesel variants. However, all petrol offerings were discontinued with the release of the latest generation. There has also been the fully-electric e-Expert version.

Diesel options have typically consisted of several 1.6 L inline-4 and 2.0 L inline-4 engines. Petrol offerings typically sat around 2.0 L and were often inline-4s.

These have been mated with 5-speed and 6-speed manual gearboxes, as well as a 6-speed Aisian automatic transmission.

The e-Expert, which was unveiled in 2019, is powered by a 100 kW motor. Peugeot also debuted a e-Expert Hydrogen in 2021 after Opel announced the Vivaro-e Hydrogen.
