Sharing a platform with Pilot and Acura MDX the Honda Odyssey is a minivan that was first introduced in 1994.

It goes by the name LaGreat in Japan and is currently in its fifth generation of evolution as of 2018.

Sales started off pretty slow but climbed continuously until 2005 when spiking oil prices put people off buying larger cars.

Passing the global recession around the 2008 area the car suffered from a loss of sales like most other models did but regained 50% of those lost sales in the years following.

Now the Odyssey sees sales of around 100,000 units sold per year which isn't bad when many car buyers are now flocking to crossover SUVs.

Through its use of space-saving design and great value for money, Honda has managed to keep the sales flowing for this compact MPV.

The most recent release, the fifth generation released in 2018 brought a brand new stylish design to the car and lighter parts.

Customers are fixed with a 3.5 liter V6 up front under the hood mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission powering the front wheels.

A fleet of driver aids has been fitted to predict accidents before they happen and to take over to avoid them earning it a safety rating in the "Front crash prevention" discipline of "Superior".
