Taking over from the Juke model that was popular since its introduction in 2010 the Nissan Kicks is being built in more locations serving more regions.

Styled similar to the Juke but slightly larger, the Kicks model has been treated to many more comfort and safety features to help it contend with the other subcompact crossover SUVs on the market.

It competes directly with the Honda HR-V and Chevrolet Trax, making the ownership of an SUV-like car affordable for the average car buyer.

Inside is a selection of modern technology including mobile device connectivity for Apple and Android devices as well as a built-in infotainment system.

American buyers will find a different model from the special one that was created for the Indian market called the Nissan Kicks XV.

Slight changes were made to the exterior of the Indian version including the size, it's a couple of percents bigger.

Underneath though the car is vastly different from the Kicks sold outside of India featuring parts from the Dacia Duster and Renault Captur.

For the Indian version cost-saving was paramount and so the hybrid system offered on the global version isn't available in this region.
